Challenge
iOS 14.5 caused significant data loss and missing sales in the Meta ads manager, leaving the Qure team with unreliable ad performance metrics.
Google Tag Manager (GTM) tracking contained lots of duplicates and was missing conversions due to ad-blockers and VPNs, resulting in unreliable GA4 analytics.
The Qure team had no viable way to track for individual customers what touchpoints resulted in a sale, leaving them in the dark on individual customer journeys. This was a huge problem considering their products are relatively expensive and require significant education through multiple touchpoints.
Solution
Accurate conversion tracking and all sales visible in the Meta ads manager again thanks to Converge server-side tracking. No more duplicate or missing conversions.
Improved event matching rates thanks to Converge event enrichment by combining server-side data with client-side data, allowing Meta to optimize better and lowering CPA.
For each website visitor, the Qure team now has an individual customer journey overview including all touchpoints ranging from what ads a visitor clicked on, to what products the visitor viewed, to which emails this visitor received and opened.
